A Milestone in Sustainable Mobility

Kinetic Group proudly announces the launch of a state-of-the-art EV battery manufacturing facility in Ahmednagar. This milestone marks our entry into battery production under the Range-X brand, designed specifically for two- and three-wheeler electric vehicles. With an investment of ₹50 crore, this initiative strengthens our commitment to innovation, self-reliance, and clean mobility in India.

High-Tech Facility with Advanced Battery Production

The Ahmednagar facility features an automated production line that can manufacture 60,000 high-performance battery packs annually. It will produce two key battery types:

• Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) – This battery type ensures higher safety, stability, and longevity.

• Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) – Known for its high energy density and prolonged power output, it is ideal for multiple applications.

Besides powering Kinetic’s own EV projects, the facility will also supply batteries to other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), expanding our role in India’s growing EV ecosystem.

Our automated facility integrates IoT-enabled POKE-YOKE systems, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the production process. Additionally, our team conducts rigorous inspections at every stage to comply with AIS 156 & AIS 004 safety standards. This meticulous approach guarantees reliability, safety, and top-notch performance in all our products.

Driving India’s EV Growth with the Make in India Initiative

Kinetic Group is actively localizing Battery Management Systems (BMS) and aligning with PLI schemes to support the Make in India initiative. As India’s EV market expands at a CAGR of 28.52%, this new facility places us at the forefront of the clean mobility revolution.
