₹57 Crore. One Clear Direction. The Road Ahead.

Kinetic doubles down on electric mobility as investment fuels the next phase of growth.

There are moments when a company does more than announce growth. It puts capital behind it. For Kinetic Engineering, that moment has arrived with an additional investment of approximately ₹57 crore to strengthen its businesses and accelerate the expansion of its electric mobility journey. Of this investment, around ₹17 crore will support capital expenditure, while ₹40 crore will be invested in Kinetic Watts & Volts (KWV), the Group’s electric two-wheeler business. The investment comes at a time when Kinetic is building momentum across its EV operations, strengthening its retail network and expanding its presence in the electric mobility space.

The move comes with a growing network already taking shape. Kinetic has signed Letters of Intent with more than 150 dealers across India, with over 60 outlets currently operational and supported by Sales, Service and Spares facilities. This expanding network is creating the foundation for the next stage of Kinetic EV’s journey, bringing its products closer to more customers and more roads across the country.

At the centre of this momentum is the Kinetic DX and DX+, the electric rebirth of an icon that has returned with a new purpose. With the upgraded 3.1 kWh LFP battery, up to 132 km of IDC range and a combination of practical technology and everyday usability, the scooters represent Kinetic’s approach to electric mobility: familiar enough to feel like Kinetic, engineered enough to belong to the future.

But the investment story extends beyond electric two-wheelers. Kinetic Engineering is also strengthening its auto-components business, with approximately ₹17 crore supporting new driveline export orders for Europe and Mexico valued at around ₹500 crore over seven years.

It is a significant moment for a company with decades of engineering behind it. The legacy continues to provide the foundation, but the investments being made today are aimed firmly at what comes next. With stronger capabilities, a growing retail network and continued investment in electric mobility, Kinetic is building for scale, one decision, one product and one road at a time.

The legend is reborn. The journey moves forward. And the road ahead is electric.

More Range. More Freedom. The Kinetic DX Levels Up.

The Kinetic DX returns with bigger batteries, up to 132 km of certified range and festive benefits that make the move to electric more accessible. Progress is about making every ride go a little further. This September, Kinetic EV takes another step in that direction with battery upgrades across its DX electric scooter range, bringing more range and greater everyday practicality to a scooter built on a legacy of Indian mobility.

The Kinetic DX now gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery, upgraded from its earlier 2.6 kWh pack, while the DX+ moves to a larger 3.1 kWh battery. The result is an electric scooter range designed to meet the demands of everyday commuting while giving riders more confidence in their journeys.

Leading the charge is the Kinetic DX+, which offers an IDC-certified range of up to 132 km. With an estimated real-world range of approximately 105–110 km, it brings added convenience to daily travel, whether it is the morning commute, running errands or navigating the city through the day. Power comes from a hub-mounted BLDC motor delivering 3.8 kW of peak output, with Range and Power modes to suit different riding needs.

The upgrades build on what makes the Kinetic DX familiar to riders. Its 37-litre under-seat storage, 12-inch wheels, tubeless tyres, 220 mm front disc brake and 165 mm ground clearance make it practical for everyday use. An 8.8-inch LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, along with hill hold and cruise control, adds to the riding experience. The DX+ takes convenience further with smart features including Find My Kinetic, geolocation and Guide Me Home, complemented by five colour options: Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red.

For Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic EV, the upgraded range brings together the brand’s iconic design, modern electric technology and thoughtful features to make electric mobility more practical for Indian customers.

The festive season adds another reason to explore the range. The Kinetic DX 3 kWh is priced at ₹1,18,599, while the DX+ 3.1 kWh is priced at ₹1,27,650, both ex-showroom. Festive benefits include cash savings of ₹3,000 on the DX+ and ₹2,000 on the DX, an extended warranty worth ₹8,999 on the DX+, up to ₹7,000 Amazon cashback and a ₹5,000 PM E-Drive scheme benefit, subject to applicable terms and eligibility.

For Kinetic, the DX has always stood for dependable mobility. With more battery capacity, greater range and technology built around everyday needs, the latest upgrade carries that legacy forward. The Legend Is Reborn. And now, it goes further.
